"Nevada Falls, Yosemite"

On a spectacular spring day, I hiked up the Mist Trail past Vernal Falls and up to Nevada Falls.  When I saw the falls, I knew I had my subject!  I clambered down the cliff and found a small perch where I could stand and not receive too much spray.  Looking at my study, I can still remember the awesome thundering of the falls and the occasional blasts of spray.

The cliffs of Garrapata State Park, south of Monterey, provide numerous stunning vistas of the Pacific below.  I particularly like the views out towards the setting sun as the light reflects off the waves and shines through them.
